This book was for sure out of my comfort zone.... Now, was I amazed? Shocked? Struggling to keep my jaw shut? Absolutely!
The world is nasty, gritty, and bloody--a true dystopian book! There are cruel people and corporations wanting to seize you, and there is a bioengineered war beast. The problems that occur today also appear in the book, which makes the story more terrifying. Paolo kept me on the edge of my seat; his third book was phenomenal. He makes you fear for the characters and rejoice triumphant moments. The dilemmas Tool encountered were well written and interesting. The way he overcame them were unique and not bland. It was well-done! Paolo's story is full of strength, and I do not mean amongst the characters. I do not see any flaws or lack of a plot. The series continues on strongly, and I find other fans or readers new to Paolo's books will find themselves holding another series close to their hearts as I did. *I was given an ARC of Tool of War by NOVL HQ for an honest review! |
